I get told many times by prospective clients that TEAMS is quite expensive. They are generally the clients who are used to paying around a $1000 for a single user database to help them manage say 100 odd students.

Our TEAMS product starts from $2,500 for the lite edition. Of course, we are no match :) and yet, its the same clients who said TEAMS was expensive that I find come back and purchase our product about a year or two later. By this time, their college has had growth or issues (sometimes both) and they feel they have outgrown the software they purchased. Sometimes they are frustrated by lack of support or service or timely fixes.   The initial purchase price of around $1000 is long forgotten but the pain of software that doesn't quite work and support that isn't there is very real.

We are not a $1000 software. We never will be. We have no intention of being in that market. Quite simply because I don't believe it is in the best interest of our clients by charging them a low entry point and then charging them everytime they want to add a new user, or limit them to certain # of enrolments or charging them extra for training and implementation help. In the long run, we have much higher retention rates than our competitors and we build a much stronger partnership with our clients where they know that we are here for the industry and through our unique policies such as new development policy (see why choose us page).
